What is NYC & Company?
NYC & Company is New York City's official tourism marketing organization. It was formed in January 1999 as the result of a merger of the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau (founded in 1935) with New Yorkers for New York: the Permanent Host Committee (a business group supporting major events such as the Olympics).

Where to Find NYC & Company
NYC & Company has visitor Counselors at four Official Visitor Information Centers throughout New York so you will be able to find one no matter where you are in your New York car rental. These information centers can help you with any questions you may have during your New York car rental travels whether it is regarding hotels, culture, dining, shopping, sightseeing, events, attractions, and tours – they know it all! You will be able to find A Visitor Information Centre at one of the following locations:

Downtown: NYC Heritage Tourism Center
Located on the Southern tip of City Hall Park on the Broadway sidewalk at Park Row this visitor centre is open seven days a week. Here you will find interactive displays, brochures on history-themed tours and attractions and knowledgeable staffers to help visitors find out about the people, places and events of historical importance in New York City.

Chinatown: The Official Visitor Information Kiosk for Chinatown
This visitor centre is easy to find in New York car rental. Located at the triangle where Canal, Walker, and Baxter Streets meet, the kiosk has a red and gold dragon and neon pagoda roof and there's an eight-foot translucent map of the area on its western wall – you can’t miss it! The kiosk is open seven days a week so you can stop by anytime during your New York car rental visit.

Midtown Manhattan: Official Visitor Information Center
This is New York City's official visitor information center where you will find information on everything there is to do and see while on your New York car rental ventures. Here you will find free brochures, discount coupons to attractions and theatres, multilingual visitor information counselors, and MetroCard vending machine.
